We are thrilled to announce that Yorkshire-born actor Ralph Ineson will be joining the Guest Jury Panel at Worcester Film Festival 2025. With a career spanning more than two decades across arthouse cinema, prestige television, and major studio blockbusters, Ralph has established himself as one of the UK’s most dynamic and compelling actors.

A Career of Iconic Roles

One of Ralph’s first most iconic roles was as Chris “Finchy” Finch in the beloved UK sitcom The Office, written and created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Since then, he has gone on to leave his mark on some of the most acclaimed television series of the 21st century, including Game of Thrones (2011), Peaky Blinders (2016), and the Emmy Award-winning Chernobyl (2019).

On the big screen, Ralph has built a reputation for commanding, unforgettable performances. Fans will recognise him from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2 and from his chilling role in Robert Eggers’ A24 folk horror masterpiece The Witch (2015), where he starred alongside Anya Taylor-Joy. He reunited with Eggers for both The Northman (2022) and Nosferatu (2025). His filmography also includes standout performances in The Green Knight (2021) and Lena Dunham’s Catherine Called Birdy (2022).

A Blockbuster Year

2025 has already proven to be a landmark year for Ralph. In July, he entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the formidable planet-devouring villain Galactus in Fantastic Four: First Steps. That same month, he appeared as Archduke Bellarion in season three of Apple TV+’s Foundation.

And the momentum doesn’t stop there. This summer will see him star in the indie feature Two Neighbors alongside Anya Chalotra and Chloe Cherry, while November brings one of the most anticipated releases of the year: Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, arriving on Netflix.
