Worcester Film Festival 4th Edition

Greetings from Worcester Film Festival! We are committed to introducing the best of indie film to the Midlands by championing and nurturing talent both upcoming and established. We’re proud to be a festival for film lovers and filmmakers alike and we’re looking forward to welcoming back familiar faces as well as getting to know all those we’ve yet to meet in 2024.

– 2 Feature Film UK Premieres
– ODEON Cinemas as our screening venue
– Networking Events & Film Socials in conjunction with various partners like Birmingham Film & Television Market and Worcestershire Film Office
– Talks by BAFTA, Murray Gold (composer of Doctor Who) and Industrial, Light and Magic
– Pitching Workshop with specialist Sasha Damjanovski
– Pitch Event against a panel of industry judges
– Launch Events alongside the Royal Television Society Midlands
– Awards Galas with a range of hosts like Summaya Mughal and guests like Mathew Horne (Gavin& Stacey) as well as an opening performance from The Film Orchestra
– 50th Anniversary Screening of “The Wicker Man” with Folk Horror intro and 2 minute film competition showcase
– City-Wide Film Themed Art Trail to promote positive mental health
